The Japanese course for beginners will begin soon by volunteer instructors who are studying Japanese-language teaching. Any beginner who would like to study Japanese is welcome to join!
|International Exchange Salon
The international exchange salon is a casual gathering place for Japanese that
want foreign friends and oreigners that want to speak Japanese.
There is no need to make a reservation. Feel free to show up on the day of the salon.
There are many foreign residents who live, study, or take part in activiyies in Shinjuku City.
The city thinks highly of this diversity and promotes multicultural city planning in which people
of various nationalities and races mutually recognize cultural defferences, understand each other,
and live together in harmony.
The Shinjuku Multicultural Plaza is a center where Japanese and non-Japanese residents can have
friendly exchanges. In addition, there is multilingual information that is useful for everyday living
as well as consulotation services. Furthermore, the plaza can offer support and help coordinate
activities for everyone. By all means, please drop by and visit the plaza.
Teaching and learning materials are available here for those who want to study or teach the
Japanese language. You can study on your own while referring to these materials. Also,
Japanese-language conversation classes are held free of charge.

programus, and volunteering.
